you can now buy downloads and CDs, and get our free downloads from the one page - the prices are the same as ever, but we now offer the option to anyone who is feeling generous or wants to support independent music-making to select a price of their choosing for several items.
downloads now come in a variety of formats which you can select from, and CD sales are delivered by post to the address of your choosing anywhere in the world, and come with an immediate download thrown in so you can start listening straight away!

No. 5 - A LIVE ALBUM PROJECT FOR 2009-2010
kirsty mcgee and the hobopop collective record their next release live, in one take, in front of a sold out audience...
this mini-album, the first to feature the collective that has been performing kirsty’s songs all over the uk since early 2008, will be recorded live in front of an audience the contact theatre in manchester on the 10th october 2009, for release in early 2010. the show will be an event in itself - we can’t say much except that you should expect a whole host of extra people, some amazing collaborations, some songs you won’t have heard before, some old favorites and a big ol’ shindig afterwards. a little bit more news to be had at the on tour page of this site...
tickets for this one-off event sold out within a week - we are deliberately keeping it to a small room for that intimate atmosphere on the record. members of kirsty’s mailing list and facebook groups were given first opportunity to get in before tickets went on general sale, so if you’re not signed up, do so now to avoid missing out on future events.
