‘WIFE’ SINGLE LAUNCH PARTY ANNOUNCED - 02.11.10
the new single from kirsty mcgee & the hobopop collective is due to be released in november, and we will be launching it at manchester’s landmark music venue, band on the wall, on november 02nd.
the show will feature the full collective (the only one this autumn), with special guests k.c. mckanzie and james steel of the brute chorus. have a look at the facebook event and the venue website for more information.

NEW SINGLE IN NOVEMBER WITH THE BRUTE CHORUS
kirsty mcgee & the hobopop collective are collaborating with long-term rock n’ roll friends the brute chorus to create a free double-A side single, due out at the end of the year. the brutes will record a song by kirsty, and the hobopop collective a song by the brutes. look out for the free downloads at the bands’ websites and live dates from both around that time.

ELGIN SHOW CANCELLED
we have just heard that the red shoes theatre in elgin has had to close its doors and is cancelling all shows, including the show from kirsty mcgee duo on 12.09.10. we’re sorry if you hoped to come - perhaps you could make either inverness (10.09.10) or banchory (11.09.10) instead...
